Unable to Login When Using AOLSome users have reported that when using AOL, it is not possible to log in to the protected areas of the website. We have verified this, and are fairly certain that it is due to an inadequate configuration in the AOL browser (specifically, that part concerning the Issuing Authorities of Security Certificates).
AOL technical support has been unable to supply us with any useful information regarding the configuration of their browser. Therefore for the time being, it would appear that the NCCA website may not be accessible through AOL.
We have had reports of two methods that have allowed some users to proceed. We cannot say whether these methods will work in all cases, but they are certainly worth trying:
- Click the Keyword icon on the AOL toolbar, type "securefix" then click on Go.
- Try clearing the browser cache (Start > AOL > System Information > Utilities > Clear Browser Cache).
